A nice breakfast at home after a long week:



Poached eggs, spinach, nettles (good!), bacon, first peas of the season, and a dressing of olive oil, black pepper, poppy seeds, fresh horseradish, and orange juice.

    raw nettles? i always thought you had to cook them!

      Apparently ignorance is bliss. It was a handful of leaves (not stems) on top of mainly spinach, and they tasted tart and a little rough on the tongue but not obviously stinging.
